1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for, accessing, or using TradeLens ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

TradeLens is a trading analytics and management platform connecting to MetaTrader 4 and 5 via an Expert Advisor. The Platform provides live dashboards, risk management tools, trade journals, AI coaching, notifications, and market intelligence. TradeLens reads account data only — it cannot place, modify, or close trades.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use TradeLens. By registering, you confirm you are of legal age and that your use complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

5. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at support@tradelens.co.za if you suspect unauthorised access. TradeLens is not liable for loss resulting from unauthorised use of your credentials.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

6.1 Pricing

• Starter: R99/month or R990/year
• Premium: R199/month or R1,990/year
• Pro: R349/month or R3,490/year

All plans are subscriptions and renew automatically until cancelled. An annual plan is charged at ten times the monthly price, so paying yearly costs the same as ten months.

All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR). Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice. A price change never affects a subscription already running until its next renewal.

6.4 Cancellation

You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing further is charged. Cancelling does not delete your data — see the Privacy Policy for how long it is kept.

6.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by PayFast. TradeLens does not store your card details. By completing a payment, you agree to PayFast's terms and conditions.

6.3 Free Trial

New users receive a 14-day free trial with full access. No credit card is required. At the end of the trial, access is restricted unless a paid plan is selected. Your data is retained after trial expiry.

7. Refund Policy

TradeLens offers a 2-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. Contact support@tradelens.co.za within 2 days of your first payment for a full refund. After 2 days, payments are final and non-refundable. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time — access continues until the end of the billing period you have paid for.

8. Service Availability & Downtime

TradeLens aims for maximum uptime but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated via email where possible. TradeLens is not liable for trading decisions made or missed during service unavailability. Extended downtime exceeding 24 hours may qualify for a pro-rata credit on any paid plan — contact support@tradelens.co.za.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of TradeLens is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference. Your trade history, journal entries, and settings are accessible only to you and are never sold to third parties.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and materials on TradeLens are the intellectual property of TradeLens. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent. The MetaTrader EA is licensed for personal use only — redistribution, resale, or reverse-engineering is prohibited.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, TradeLens and its owners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform — including trading losses, lost profits, or data loss. The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

12. Prohibited Conduct

• Using TradeLens for any unlawful purpose
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform
• Sharing account credentials with other users
• Using automated tools to scrape or extract data
• Reselling or redistributing access to TradeLens
• Reverse-engineering any part of the Platform or EA

13. Termination

TradeLens may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms. Your data will be retained for 30 days after termination then deleted, unless earlier deletion is requested.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email with at least 14 days notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
